Black Bear Hunting Specialist

The Great North Lodge is pleased to offer an all-inclusive opportunity of a lifetime. We have a hunting area that has not been hunted for many years. We have baited this area for the last two years and hunted of the first time last year. We have seen a good number of quality bears of good size and color with good markings. Some of these bears would score for Boone & Crockett. We hunt in zones 70 & 71 in Northern Saskatchewan.

The Great North Lodge has clean accommodations with a licensed dinning room. All hunters will enjoy individual rooms, which will include a bath and shower. You will be able to relax around the fireplace in our main lodge. Hunters will also be pleased with the rugged terrain of the Precambrian Shield. Please be advised that these areas are only accessible by ATV’s or 4-Wheel Drives.

The Great North Lodge all-inclusive hunt would provide accommodations, meals, guides and transportation to and from the baits. We also have freezing facilities for meat and hides. As an added bonus hunters will be able to fish the beautiful waters of Jan Lake, Saskatchewan. this alone would cost $1,500.00 if booked separately. boats , motors, gas, insurance and guide fees for fishing days will be extra. hunters will have to book early, as there are a limited number of allocations for this area. Our success rate in the year 2006 was 100%.

GUIDES

Guides will do all baiting. Guides will also be available to take hunters to and from baits and to assist hunters with kills and skinning hides. Gratuities of $250.00 are expected for kills and help with skinning hides.

TRAVEL

Flights can be arranged from Winnipeg to Flin Flon, Manitoba, Canada. Other travel arrangements can be made as required. Rates will vary depending on fares being offered for that time period. All flights and transportation costs will have to be paid by hunters when booked.

RATES

$2495.00 US per person based on double occupancy. This will be an all-inclusive 7 day hunting excursion. Hunters will have 7 day accommodations, 6 days in stands allowing 1 day for travel.  Licenses and allocation fees included in this price. 

* Non-hunters or companions will be charged  $150.00 US per day. Licenses and allocation fee will cost $200.00 US more per hunter
